Alwyn ‘Taffy’ Parry grew up in Caernarfon, where he went to school through the days of the second world war, before moving to work in London. At 21 he migrated to New Zealand. Now in his twilight years, living in the bush near Wellington, he enjoys brushing back the cobwebs of time to reveal dormant memories, including the recollections of a little boy growing up in Wales.
