Anna-Louise Marsh-Rees leads Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice Cymru, a group set up for and by those bereaved by decisions taken by the Welsh Government before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in Wales. The group calls on the Welsh Government to start an immediate Wales-specific statutory public inquiry, as it deserves to be properly scrutinised, not via a footnote in a UK government inquiry. The group also calls for the UK Inquiry to fully scrutinise Wales. Anna-Louise established the group as her wonderful father Ian died of hospital-acquired Covid in Abergavenny in October 2020, and she could not and still cannot get answers from the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
