Read moreCaroline Sheen was born and brought up in South Wales. A member of the National Youth Theatre of Wales and Gwent Young People’s Theatre, she trained at the Guildford School of Acting. Her West End credits include Violet in 9 to 5, Sandy in Grease, Truly Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Eponine and Fantine in Les Misérables.
She won a Helen Hayes Award for playing Mary Poppins in America.
TV appearances include Ghosts, Silent Witness, and Torchwood. Film work includes Nativity Rocks, Four Kids and It, and Les Misérables.
She has appeared numerous times at the Wales Millennium Centre since being a soloist at their opening ceremony in 2004.
