Read moreDean Jones was born in Abergavenny but now lives in Somerset. He studied History and Welsh History at Aberystwyth in the early 2000s, where he began to realise that his school education had been more focused on British or English history than Welsh. This sparked his passion for telling the story of our great nation’s history. His main historical interests are in pre-Roman and Roman Wales, 16th century Wales, 20th century history, and the mythology and folklore of Britain. He also enjoys hiking, travelling, photography, and whisky, and is a Welsh learner.
