Dr Jonathan Durrant is a historian of gender in the 16th and 17th centuries. He is a Principal Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Creative Industries at the University of South Wales. His current research interest is in the experiences of witchcraft in early modern England and Germany. Dr Durrant edits the internationally-acclaimed Witchcraft Bibliography Online. His other research interests include masculinity and warfare in early 17th century Germany, and early modern history as entertainment.
