Lucy Thompson

Dr Lucy Thompson is a lecturer in Nineteenth-Century Literature and Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University, working on 18th and 19th century literature. Her current research delves into the representation of disability in 19th century texts. Her expertise spans the Romantic era, gender studies, and surveillance studies, with a particular interest in tracing the evolution of societal oversight from 1780 to 1830 and its implications today.
