Terry Breverton

Terry Breverton attended Barry Grammar School, Manchester University, and Lancaster University School of Management. He has worked in Europe, the Middle East, and America and, after a period in academia, retired to write non-fiction. Many of his works centre on Welsh history and culture. He wrote the first biographies of Jasper and Owen Tudor and translated the medieval Physician of Myddfai. Rowan Wiliams, when Archbishop of Canterbury, called The Book of Welsh Saints “a really extraordinary achievement: a compilation of tradition, topography, and literary detective work that can have few rivals.” He has been awarded Book of the Month by the Books Council of Wales five times, and his books have been translated into Russian, Japanese, Turkish, Polish, Dutch, and Chinese. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, the Institute of Consulting, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and the Royal Historical Society.
