Tom Bullough

Tom Bullough

Tom Bullough is the author of four novels: A, The Claude Glass, Konstantin, and Addlands. His fifth book, Sarn Helen, is a study of Welsh history and the climate crisis, illustrated by Jackie Morris and published in February 2023 by Granta Books. He grew up on a Radnorshire hill farm and has worked as a journalist, sawmiller, screenwriter, contributor to the Rough Guides, tractor driver, T-shirt salesman, Zimbabwean music promoter, and university fellow. He now lives in Bannau Brycheiniog with his children, and his passion is anything that might help to mitigate the Climate and Ecological Emergency. He runs courses on writing, climate, and ecology as often as he can. He would “not now wish to be a writer anywhere but in this small, quarrelsome, beautiful country”.
