Llantysilio Breathe in, the first act in life. The place to be, as a new day begins. Clarity blurred, the Damp-laden air rolls down from the sky. Mists from the hills embrace the new morning, Swirling, caressing, enfolding. A elderly oak creaks to the rhythm of the spring wind’s tune, patiently tolerant of what is to be. Together we feel the mood, light, and colour, Watch the galloping greys of a Welsh sky drama. Breath, the start of life and of everything since. Focus.........waiting.............. calming..................stilling. Cease the thinking, anticipating, wondering, the maybes, or what ifs. Feeling the now spread through to my bones, as the new day begins. Bracken-bronzed hills, kissed by dawn’s rosy blush. Heightened awareness seeps into my cells. Energy soaks through my soles………. to my soul, tingly, teasing, tremulous. Stitch threads of perception to a backcloth of thought. Weave the weft of the day, through the river’s warp, and the buzzards’ calls. Quilt the intangible. Embroider the ethereal. Breathe........and create new space. Breathe...........and feed the creative. New possibilities hover and tease, just out of reach. There on the edge, to have, but not hold, the merest glimpse of what may be. Ripples of calm break in the shallows. Some bubbles of insight, there for a moment then suddenly gone. Melt through the pebbles, return to the sea. There..........but not there. Just being.............yet not understood. A knowing..........yet not known.............that cannot be unknown. The river scape walks with my internal landscape. A momentary magical place of peace............forever remembered. Breathe out, the last act in life.
